Jeff’s practice is almost entirely devoted to family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony and the division of marital property.  Jeff has been practicing law since 2000 and has worked for large law firms in Maryland and Louisiana, as well as government agencies and regulators.  His breadth of experience allows him to provide outstanding advice with a calming demeanor to tumultuous situations.  He has represented clients throughout Maryland, including Anne Arundel County, Howard County, Baltimore County, Calvert County, Montgomery County and Queen Anne’s County.  While Jeff believes that resolving cases via settlement is almost always a better alternative than contested litigation, when it is necessary his courtroom experience allows him to present his client’s case in the best light possible and he is a zealous advocate for his clients.

Jeff is committed to helping clients achieve their objectives and protecting their interests while those clients are going through one of the most stressful and difficult time of their lives.  The only way to achieve this goal is to get to know every client, develop relationships with them and listen and understand their individual stories.  Jeff wants to be sure every client makes informed decisions with a full understanding of the options available to them, as well as the difficulties and advantages of those options.  Every case presents unique facts and circumstances and there are often difficult family dynamics that affect decision making.  Jeff’s goal is to reach a resolution that is family-focused and takes into account all of the different dynamics and ramifications of any chosen option.

In his personal time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, including his three daughters.  He is an avid Orioles fan and a soccer fanatic and you can find him playing in adult leagues on Thursday evenings and waking up early on weekends to watch matches from around the globe.
